ACT! for America was founded by Brigitte Gabriel, a Lebanese immigrant who came to the United States after losing her country of birth to militant Muslim fundamentalists during the Lebanese Civil War.
ACT! for America is a non-profit issues advocacy organization dedicated to effectively organizing and mobilizing the most powerful grassroots citizen action network in America, committed to informed and coordinated civic action that will lead to public policies that promote America’s national security and the defense of American democratic values against the assault of radical Islam.
“So many times in the last 100 years, citizens have stood by and done nothing, allowing evil to prevail. As America stood up against and defeated Nazism and Communism now it is time to stand up against the terror and tyranny of Islamic fascism. The vision of ACT! for America is an America that, through its laws and public policies, will be safe from Islamic terrorism, will remain free from Islamic authoritarianism, will continue to enjoy the blessings of liberty and prosperity deeded to us by those who came before us, and will remain a beacon of light and hope to the world.”
